Great Hall – University of Sydney

The Great Hall was officially opened to the public in 1859, with the historic building holding a grand festival of music to commemorate the opening. Now 150 years on the Great Hall part of the University of Sydney campus gives guests the opportunity to experience a snapshot of the wonderful architecture.

The Great Hall, akin to a dramatic old English Castle with its high ceilings, stunning glass windows and sandstone walls makes it the perfect venue for an enthralling and decadent event. The luxurious event space is budget friendly and also offers the use of the majestic quad lawns which can be used to greet guests with the pre-dinner drinks and canapes. The University’s Great Hall hosts a wide range of events with the venue and ideal location for conferencesweddings, gala dinners, award ceremonies, memorials and exhibitions.
